Test requirements

  • Passengers aged 5 years and older must hold a negative PCR test result, obtained within 3 days between the date of the initial sample collection (not the date they received the result), and the date of departure.

Quarantine and testing on arrival

  • Passengers aged 5 years and older will be subject to a rapid diagnostic test (RDT) on arrival. If a positive result is received, the passenger will be subject to genomic sequencing. If the RDT is negative, but the passenger is symptomatic, the passenger will be subject to a PCR test. All confirmed cases will be transferred to approved treatment centers.
  • For further information, please visit Entry and Exit Conditions in Cameroon.

Exit restrictions

  • Passengers departing Cameroon must hold a negative test result obtained within 3 days prior to departure. This must be a PCR or RDT test, depending on the requirements of the destination or transit country.
