Vaccination requirements

  • Passengers aged 18 years and older must hold a Covid-19 vaccination certificate before departure.

Test requirements

  • Passengers aged 18 years and older are not permitted to enter Equatorial Guinea unless holding a negative PCR or antigen test certificate issued no more than 48 hours prior to departure in Equatorial Guinea (becoming effective from boarding the plane, and is calculated from the time the passenger was notified about their results, and not just after the test is performed).
  • Students who return to Equatorial Guinea after completing their studies abroad must hold a negative PCR test certificate obtained within 48 hours prior to departure. These students are not required to hold a Covid-19 vaccination certificate prior to travel but must be vaccinated at the end of the quarantine period.

Quarantine and testing on arrival

  • Passengers must quarantine for 3 days on arrival in a hotel at their own expense.
    • This does not apply to diplomats, who may instead quarantine at home.

Exit requirements

  • Passengers aged 18 years and older departing Equatorial Guinea must hold a negative PCR test certificate obtained within 48 hours prior to departure and a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
