Self-isolation at own accommodation subject to PCR. If your arrival antigen test result is positive for COVID-19, you will be required to quarantine for a further 7 days at a designated hotel at your own cost, and may be referred to a local medical facility for treatment if you develop serious symptoms. You should check what your insurance covers in advance of travel.

Self-isolation at own accommodation subject to PCR. You will also be required to take a test at Ivato International Airport and to self-isolate at your own expense until the test result is received (typically 4 – 5 days). If the test is positive, you may be required to go to a state-mandated facility for treatment.
