Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival. The required validity of the test is 5 days for passengers travelling from a country in West African Economic and Monetary Union (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte D'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo).
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold proof that they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with an accepted vaccine at least 4 weeks prior to travel. Accepted vaccines are 2 doses of the AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, or Sinovac vaccines, or 1 dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Exit restrictions

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers departing Niger must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to departure. The test must be obtained from an approved laboratory or medical institution at the passengers' expense (25,000 West African CFA franc). The PCR test is free for children aged younger than 5 years. The validity of the test is 5 days for passengers travelling to a country in West African Economic and Monetary Union (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte D'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo).
