Form requirements

Quarantine and testing on arrival

  • All passengers aged 5 years and older will be subject to a rapid antigen test and a PCR test on arrival.
  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must quarantine in a pre-paid NaCOVERC approved quarantine hotel while they await the results of their on arrival tests. Passengers must register and pay by CC or Orange money prior to arrival.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Passengers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 at least 14 days prior to departure must quarantine at home while they await the results of their on arrival tests.

Exit restrictions

  • Passengers aged 5 years and older departing Sierra Leone must register at TravelGov, and pay for and obtain a negative PCR test certificate within 72 hours prior to departure via TravelGov or via Orange/Afrimoney. Passengers must show a hard copy or a downloaded digital copy on their smart phone. Passengers who receive a positive result will not be permitted to travel and must quarantine for 2 weeks.
    • The requirement to hold a negative PCR test certificate on departure does not apply to passengers who flew into Sierra Leone within 5 days prior to their departure date.
