Form requirements

  • Passengers must hold proof that they have completed the Individual Health and Immigration Declaration Form at least 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Passengers are advised to hold medical, travel or international health insurance.
  • Passengers are advised to download the PassCovidTG app.

Vaccination definition

  • Passengers are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they hold is a proof that they have received at least one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or at least two doses of a 2-dose vaccine at least 15 days prior to travel. The document must include a QR code containing data for the vaccination reference, passenger's first name and last name, the date and type of vaccine for all doses received.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older must hold a negative PCR test obtained within 5 days prior to departure.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for all passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

    • This does not apply to passengers in transit.

Test on arrival

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older will be subject to a PCR test on arrival. Passengers must pay for this test prior to departure (25,000 XOF or €39 EUR) online and present the generated QR code or the printed electronic receipt as proof of payment.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Exit restrictions

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older departing Togo must hold a certificate confirming they have taken a PCR test within 5 days prior to departure at their own expense. This period may be shortened or extended depending on the requirements of the destination country.
    • Passengers whose stay in Togo does not exceed 5 days and who tested negative on arrival are not required to retake a new Covid-19 test prior to departure from Togo.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must hold a negative PCR test result obtained prior to departure only if the destination country requires it.
  • Passengers departing Togo must hold proof that they have completed the Individual Health and Immigration Declaration Form.
