Vaccination requirements

  • Vaccination is not required for travel but if you are fully vaccinated you may face less travel restrictions. Passengers are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they hold proof that they have received the second dose of a 2-dose Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to travel.

Form requirements

  • Passengers must hold a completed Covid-19 Self Declaration Form prior to arrival.
    • Passengers must also complete a commitment letter accepting Covid-19 screening, testing, self-isolation and the costs occurred, and submit it at the airport on arrival in Iran.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older must hold a negative PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours prior to departure. The certificate must be in English, or approved by the Iranian embassy in the departure country.
  • Vaccinated passengers: This does not apply to passengers who hold proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Testing on arrival

  • Passengers may be subject to screening on arrival.
