Entry restrictions

  • Passengers are not permitted to enter Turkmenistan.
    • This does not apply to nationals of Turkmenistan.
    • This also does not apply to technical landings or charter cargo flights including flight crew, provided their stay does not exceed 72 hours.
  • Turkmen passports with a consular stamp, consular signature, embassy seal and a QR code that expires between the 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2022 are valid for travel and are extended to the 31st December 2022.

Test and vaccination requirements

  • Passengers must either hold a negative PCR test certificate obtained within 72 hours prior to travel or a Covid-19 vaccination certificate obtained at least 42 days from the date of vaccination.

Quarantine requirements

  • Passengers must quarantine for 21 days on arrival in Turkmenistan.
