Entry rules

Non-essential travel to Slovenia is possible for all fully vaccinated persons coming from third countries and entities.

Proof of vaccination, valid for 270 days after the primary vaccination series was completed. Vaccines authorised by the World Health Organisation and the European Medicines Authority are accepted.

In addition: it is recommended but not required that travellers fill in the online Passenger Locator Form.

COVID-19 negative certification required for entering the country.

Travellers from countries on the "red" list" are subject to the requirement for a pre-departure negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to arrival (PCR). All tests must be performed in an EU Member State or Schengen Associated Country by a recognised institution (a list is published on the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food website).
