COVID-19 negative certification required for entering the country. Fully vaccinated adult travellers will require a negative COVID-19 test (either a Rapid Antigen Test or PCR), taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival to The Bahamas. Bahamian residents who are not fully vaccinated must provide proof of a negative COVID PCR test taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival to The Bahamas. Self-administered tests are not accepted.

Children aged 1 and under are exempt from any testing requirements.

Children visiting aged 2 to 11 inclusive are required to present a negative COVID-19 test (either a Rapid Antigen Test or PCR), taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to the date of arrival to The Bahamas and need a trip created on an adult’s Travel health visa profile.

COVID-19 negative certification required for entering the country. A negative COVID-19 RT PCR (molecular swab) test certificate is required on entry as well as a health visa application for international travel. The negative test results must be uploaded when completing the Travel Health Visa Application prior to arrival. The test must not have been taken more than 5 days prior to the date of arrival. The health visa application is available from The Bahamas travel page. Travellers are required to opt-in to a health insurance which covers them for the duration of their stay. After 1 November, travellers who are staying in The Bahamas more than four nights/five days will be required to take a rapid antigen test and complete daily health questionnaires.
