Entry and form requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 11 years and older must hold a Sworn Statement  obtained prior to travel confirming that they will quarantine for 7 days on arrival and will undergo testing at the end of the quarantine period.
  • Vaccinated passengers: The Sworn Statement is not required for passengers who present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate demonstrating that at least 4 weeks have elapsed since the first dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 2 weeks have elapsed since the second dose of the AstraZeneca, Moderna, or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine or since the first dose of these vaccines if the passenger holds proof that they previously have been infected with Covid-19.
  • Other exempt passengers: Unvaccinated minors accompanying a vaccinated guardian.
  • Passengers travelling from Martinique are not permitted to travel if they do not hold a travel declaration ("Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire") confirming they are travelling for personal, family, health, emergency or professional reasons that cannot be postponed. This statement can be obtained here.

Vaccination requirements

  • Vaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older travelling to or from France and the French Territories must hold proof of vaccination against Covid-19 showing they have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) and at least 28 days have passed since receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 7 days have passed since receiving the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine.
  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers will only be permitted to travel if holding authorisation based on a personal, family, emergency health or professional reason that cannot be postponed. These passengers must hold all the following:
    • A document to justify the reason for travel (Motif impérieux);
    • A negative RT-PCR test obtained 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test obtained 48 hours prior to departure; and
    • A Sworn Statement (Déclaration sur l'honneur) attesting to Covid-19 screening/testing on arrival and quarantine for 7 days on arrival with Covid-19 testing at the end of the quarantine period.
      • This does not apply to minors accompanying one or more adults holding proof of vaccination against Covid-19.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers travelling from a Green country who are not fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must hold a negative RT-PCR or antigen test certificate obtained within 72 hours prior to departure.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers travelling from a Green country who present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate demonstrating that at least 28 days have elapsed since the first dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 7 days have elapsed since the second dose of the AstraZeneca (Covishield, Fiocruz, R-Pharm Coronavir), Moderna, or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine or 7 days since the first dose of these vaccines if the passenger holds proof that they have been infected with Covid-19 in the last 6 months.
  • Other exempt passengers: Minors accompanying one or more vaccinated adult passengers travelling from a Green country.

  • Passengers travelling from an Orange country must hold either a negative RT-PCR test result obtained within 72 hours or a negative antigen test result obtained within 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Passengers travelling from a Red country must hold a negative RT-PCR or antigen test certificate obtained within 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Passengers travelling from the United Kingdom must hold a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result obtained within 24 hours prior to departure.

Quarantine requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must quarantine for 10 days if they are travelling from a Red Country, or for 7 days if they are travelling from an Orange country.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Quarantine is not required for passengers who present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate demonstrating that at least 28 days have elapsed since the first dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 7 days have elapsed since the second dose of the AstraZeneca (Covishield, Fiocruz, R-Pharm Coronavir), Moderna, or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine or 7 days since the first dose of these vaccines if the passenger holds proof that they have been infected with Covid-19 in the last 6 months.
  • Other exempt passengers: Minors accompanying one or more vaccinated adult passengers.

Exit restrictions

  • Passengers are not permitted to travel from Saint-Barthélemy unless they have a compelling reason for their travel.
    • This does not apply to passengers travelling to European Union member states, the Schengen Area member states, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland or the Vatican.

Red countries

  • Afghanistan, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Georgia, Iran, Maldives, Pakistan, Russia, Seychelles, Suriname, and Turkey.

Orange countries

  • All other countries not listed.

Green countries

  • European Union and Schengen Area member states, Australia, Bahrain, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Comoros, Hong Kong, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Korea (South), Lebanon, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, and Vanuatu.
