Vaccination requirements

  • Definition of Fully Vaccinated: Vaccination is not required for travel but if you are fully vaccinated you may face less travel restrictions. Passengers are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they hold evidence in English issued by a Public Health Organisation, hospital or medical centre that they received their final dose of an approved vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to travel, unless determined by the Port Health Officer. Approved vaccines are AstraZeneca (Covishield, SK Bioscience, Vaxzevria), Cuban CIGB (Abadala, Soberana), Johnson and Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Sputnik (Gam-Covid-Vac, Sputnik V).

Form requirements

  • Passengers must complete a Pre-Arrival Travel Form prior to arrival and submit their passport biodata page and negative PCR test result to coronavirustaskforcesvg@gov.vc at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Nationals and residents of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines who have recovered from Covid-19 within the last 10 days and no longer than 2 months must apply for an exemption to enter and must submit a positive PCR test result to coronavirustaskforcesvg@gmail.com.
  • Nationals and residents of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines who have recovered from Covid-19 between 10 days and 2 months prior to travel must apply to coronavirustaskforcesvg@gmail.com for an exemption to enter Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with a positive PCR test result. They must also hold proof of being fully vaccinated and a negative rapid antigen test result obtained within 24 hours prior to arrival.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Passengers who hold proof that they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival or a rapid antigen test obtained within 24 hours prior to arrival.
  • Passengers in transit:
  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Passengers who hold proof that they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 must hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to arrival or a rapid antigen test obtained within 24 hours prior to arrival.
    • If the transit period does not include an over-night stay, the passenger must remain in Argyle International Airport. If the transit period includes an over-night stay, the passenger must stay in a Tourism Authority/Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment (TA/MOHWE) approved hotel.

Quarantine requirements

Passengers not travelling from a Low Risk Country/Region must comply with the following requirements:

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers may be subject to a Covid-19 test on arrival and must quarantine for 7 days in a Tourism Authority/MOHWE approved Transition/Quarantine Hotel at their own expense. Passengers must take another test on day 5. Passengers aged under 18 must follow the same protocols as adult they have travelled with, or if they have travelled alone they must quarantine with a guardian in a private residence.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test and quarantine is not required for passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. If determined by the Port Health Officer, passengers may be required to take a test on arrival and quarantine for 48 hours at their own cost in a Tourism Authority/MOHWE approved Transition/Quarantine Hotel/Property.
  • Other exempt passengers:
    • Passengers in transit; or
    • Diplomats.

Passengers travelling from a Low Risk Country/Region must comply with the following requirements:

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers may be subject to a PCR test on arrival if determined by the Port Health Office. They must quarantine for 3 days on arrival in a Tourism Authority/MOHWE approved Transition/Quarantine Hotel at their own expense.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test and quarantine is not required for passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. If determined by the Port Health Officer, passengers may be required to take a test on arrival and quarantine for 48 hours at their own cost in a Tourism Authority/MOHWE approved Transition/Quarantine Hotel/Property.
  • Other exempt passengers:
    • Passengers in transit; or
    • Diplomats.

Low risk countries/regions

  • Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Suriname, and Taiwan.
