Vaccination requirements

  • Passengers aged 12 years and older travelling to or from France and the French Territories must hold proof of vaccination against Covid-19 showing they have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) and at least 28 days have passed since receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine or 7 days have passed since receiving the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine.
  • Unvaccinated passengers will only be permitted to travel if holding authorisation based on a personal, family, emergency health or professional reason that cannot be postponed. These passengers must hold all the following:
    • A document to justify the reason for travel (Motif impérieux);
    • A negative RT-PCR test obtained 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test obtained 48 hours prior to departure; and
    • A Sworn Statement (Déclaration sur l'honneur) attesting to Covid-19 screening/testing on arrival and quarantine for 7 days on arrival with Covid-19 testing at the end of the quarantine period.
    • This does not apply to minors accompanying one or more adults holding proof of vaccination against Covid-19.

Form requirements

  • Passengers must hold a Travel Certificate for access to French territory (Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire et justificatif de déplacement professionnel) detailing their travel plans, and a sworn statement that they do not have Covid-19. This travel certificate and the statement can be obtained online prior to travel.
  • Passenger must present a travel statement ("Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire") confirming that they are travelling for personal, family, health, emergency or professional reason that cannot be postponed.
  • Passengers must request approval from the authorities of Wallis and Futuna by emailing cov@wallis-et-futuna.pref.gouv.fr.
    • This does not apply to passengers travelling from New Caledonia.

Test requirements

  • Passengers aged 11 years and older must hold a biological examination of virological screening (PCR test only) result tested within 72 hours prior to departure.

Quarantine requirements

  • Passengers must quarantine for 14 days on arrival.
    • This does not apply to passengers travelling from New Caledonia.

Mask requirements

  • Passengers aged 11 and older must wear a face mask during their flight and at the airport.

Exit restrictions

  • Passengers are not permitted to travel from Wallis and Futuna Islands unless they have a compelling reason for their travel.
    • This does not apply to passengers travelling to European Union member states, the Schengen Area member states, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland or the Vatican.
