Mask requirements

  • Passengers aged 2 years or older need to wear a surgical face mask during their entire trip.
  • Passengers travelling on flights with a duration of 2 hours or more must wear multiple masks and replace them when necessary.
  • Passengers who are over 60 years old and those with comorbidities are recommended to use type N95 masks during the flight.

Application requirements

  • Passengers must complete the registration on the Check-Mig website between 72 hours and 1 hour prior to departure.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 18 years and older who are not (fully) vaccinated against Covid-19 must hold a negative PCR test result tested within 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test result tested within 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold a Covid-19 vaccination certificate in paper or digital format confirming that they have received a full vaccination course with a vaccine recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO) or by a country or territory recognised by the United Nations at least 14 days prior to departure. The vaccination certificate must include the name and surname of the passenger, the date of vaccination for each dose, the name of the vaccine or the manufacturer for each dose, and the number of doses received. Passengers who have been vaccinated in Columbia can obtain the certificate here.
  • Other exempt passengers: Passengers travelling for medical emergencies, provided they hold a declaration received in Colombia from the treating physician, healthcare centre, or hospital and are travelling on authorised ambulance flights.
