Vaccination requirements

  • Vaccination is not required for travel but if you are fully vaccinated you may face less travel restrictions.
  • Passengers aged 12 years and older are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they have received the latest prescribed dose of a vaccine no more than 14 days prior to arrival.

Form requirements

  • Passengers who show flu like symptoms must hold a QR code in digital or paper format showing they have completed a Travelers Health Surveillance Form online prior to departure. This is completed by downloading the 'Jitenge MoH Kenya' app on iOS or Android, or online here prior to departure.
    • This does not apply to passengers in transit.

Test on arrival

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older must take a rapid antigen test on arrival at their own expense of $30 USD. If a positive result is received, passengers must take a PCR test at their own expense of $50 USD and quarantine as per the Kenyan Ministry of Health guidance.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid-19, provided they do not have flu-like symptoms.
  • Other exempt passengers: Passengers holding a negative pre-departure PCR test, provided they do not have flu-like symptoms.
