Vaccination requirements

  • Vaccination is not required for travel but if you are fully vaccinated you may face less travel restrictions.
  • Passengers aged between 12 and 17 years are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they hold proof that they have received two doses of an approved vaccine.
  • Passengers aged 18 years and older are considered fully vaccinated if they hold proof that they have received the booster dose of a vaccine, provided 6 months have passed from completion of primary series.

Form requirements

  • Passengers must obtain a Travel Authorisation within 3 to 72 hours prior to departure and save a copy of their approval. Airlines must verify passengers' authorisations at Travel Authorisation Status Check.
  • Passengers must hold accommodation bookings for licensed establishments or liveaboards that have been certified by the Public Health Authority. Booking vouchers reflecting the entire duration of stay in Seychelles must be uploaded to the Travel Authorisation and also shown to the Immigration counter. Passengers who do not hold a booking will be directed to another establishment that is certified.
  • Parents or an accompanying adult must complete the application on behalf of passengers aged younger than 18 years.
  • In case of an emergency or unplanned travel, passengers may use an express application at an additional cost of 90 Euros per passenger.

Insurance requirements

  • Passengers must hold travel and health insurance that will cover Covid-19 related isolation, quarantine, and treatment for the duration of their stay.
    • This does not apply to nationals and residents of Seychelles and their dependents.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older must either hold a negative PCR test certificate from an accredited laboratory obtained within 72 hours prior to departure, or a negative rapid antigen test result obtained within 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold a vaccination certificate showing they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Other exempt passengers:
    • Asymptomatic children aged younger than 2 years; or
    • Passengers who hold proof they had a Covid-19 infection between 2 and 12 weeks prior to the date of departure (proof of infection and recovery).

Testing and quarantine requirements

  • Passengers will be subject to temperature checks and health screening on arrival. Passengers with fever and respiratory symptoms of Covid-19 will be isolated and subject to further assessment and Covid-19 tests.
