Covid-19 Vaccination - Not required

08.01.2022

Vaccination certificates must contain a QR code unless issued from the UK, USA, European Union, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore or Israel. Full vaccination status is deemed as those with vaccines approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO) or Bahrain.

Vaccinated arrivals will receive a ‘Vaccination Certification Card’ on arrival which will allow access to indoor public services in-country, depending on Bahrain’s Traffic Light Alert System. See Public places and services.

From 11 July, travellers who have received two doses of the Sinopharm or Sinovac vaccine are permitted to enter Saudi Arabia via the King Fahd Causeway from Bahrain if they have also received a booster jab that has been approved by the Saudi authorities (Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna or Pfizer Biotech).
