To arrange this; the cabinet has made an amendment to the Public Health Act: the Temporary Act on corona admission tickets. The law states in which cases a corona ticket is mandatory. It is up to entrepreneurs and organizations themselves whether they want to use tests for access. The corona admission ticket belongs to the person who has been tested. The organizer of the activity checks this. The corona admission ticket is valid until 40 hours after the time of taking the test. Prior to the act; there will be pilots in the culture; sports and recreation sector from April 2021 to 8 June 2021. From 25 September 2021; a wider use of the corona certificate will be implemented.

The government is starting pilots to try out how access tests work in practice . The aim of the tests is to see how the use of test certificates can contribute to the earlier and wider opening of sectors. These are pilots in zoos; museums and sports; among other things. The pilots will start in April and will take place across the Netherlands.
