Test requirements

  • Passengers aged between 10 and 12 years must hold a negative PCR or antigen test result obtained within 3 days prior to arrival.
    • This does not apply to nationals and permanent residents of Guatemala, and diplomats.
  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged 12 years and older must hold a negative PCR or antigen test result obtained within 3 days prior to arrival.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold proof that they have received a full course of Covid-19 vaccination with two doses or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to departure.
  • Other exempt passengers:
    • Passengers who hold a physical or digital proof of emergency travel;
    • Passengers who are returning to Guatemala after having not been admitted to other countries; or
    • Diplomats.
  • All exempt passengers will be subject to an antigen test on arrival.
