Selbstisolation in der eigenen Unterkunft – je nach Kategorie. Das Gesundheitsministerium hat am 28. April 2022 eine zweite Verordnung über internationale Reisen nach Italien erlassen. Seine Bestimmungen gelten vom 1. bis 31. Mai 2022:

• Ein grundlegender Green Pass (entweder Impfung mit einem von der EMA anerkannten Impfstoff, Nachweis der Genesung von COVID-19 oder ein negativer COVID-19-Test der letzten 48 Stunden) ist weiterhin für alle Reisenden erforderlich, unabhängig vom Herkunftsland, nach Italien einzureisen.

• Für die Einreise nach Italien ist kein Passenger Locator Form (PLF) mehr erforderlich.

Keine Quarantäne mehr für Einreisende aus Nicht-EU-Staaten. Für die Einreise nach Italien ist nur ein standardmäßiger Green Pass erforderlich: entweder ein Impfnachweis, eine Genesung von COVID-19 oder ein negativer Test.

Wenn Sie keinen Impfnachweis ODER keinen negativen Test ODER keine COVID-19-Genesungsbescheinigung vorlegen können, müssen Sie:

Kinder ab 6 Jahren müssen sich einem Vorabtest unterziehen. Wenn der mitreisende Elternteil nicht der Selbstisolation unterliegt, sind Kinder ebenfalls von dieser Verpflichtung ausgenommen, auch wenn sie nicht geimpft sind.

• am Ende der 5-tägigen Selbstisolation einen weiteren PCR- oder Lateral-Flow-Schnelltest durchführen. Bei negativem Test können Sie die Selbstisolation verlassen

Kinder unter 6 Jahren sind von den Testanforderungen vor der Abreise und von der Verpflichtung zur Selbstisolation ausgenommen.

Für Kinder ab 6 Jahren gelten die gleichen Regeln wie für Erwachsene.

*Non-EU Countries: provide a self-declaration;

Self-isolate for 14 days and undergo supervision by the competent local Health Authority. The self-isolation period is reduced to 10 days for travellers who entered Italy after 18 April 2021. After the 10-day period, an additional PCR test is required. This quarantine requirement does not apply to officials and representatives of international organizations and diplomatic missions.

*Persons entering Italy who visited or transited through India, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka between 15 and 28 April 2021, even if they do not show symptoms of Covid-19, need to inform the local health authority, take a swab test (molecular or antigenic), self-isolate for a period of 10 days and take another swab test.

*Travelers from EU countries, Israel, & the UK: From 16 May until 30 July there is no longer a requirement to quarantine on arrival in Italy, unless travellers arrive without proof of a negative test.

*Travelers from Brazil: Persons who have been in or traveled through Brazil in the previous 14 days may not enter or transit through Italy. This does not apply to persons who have no COVID-19 symptoms AND had established residency in Italy prior to 13 February 2021. Persons in this category must present negative COVID-19 test results from the 48 hours prior to entering Italy and an additional COVID-19 test must be taken upon arrival. Regardless of the test results, they must then quarantine for a period of 10 days and take a second COVID-19 test at the end of quarantine.

01/04/2021 MoH establishes new quarantine and testing protocol for 5-tier system for international travel. A PCR/antigen test is required to enter the country; along with a mandatory quarantine of 5 days and an additional test at the end of the five days for Schengen and non-Shcengen European countries. All other countries require a 14-day quarantine. Covid-tested flights; in accordance with the MoH's special agreement for fights from NYC and ATL to RM and MI; are exempted from quarantine requirements.
