The government appeals to all employers to enable their staff to work from home; if the nature of work allows. Workplaces shall be adapted to the current measures. Government has implemented mandatory testing of staff working from work premises. ; 30/09/21 The employer is obliged to provide respirators and disinfectants and place them on frequently touched objects. It is also necessary to perform frequent disinfection of these areas ; especially handles; railings; shopping carts; elevators; tables; etc.

The Government of the Czech Republic declared a State of Emergency due to COVID-19 epidemiological situation in the country. The state of emergency is to last 30 days (to 3rd November 2020) Update 1: State of emergency was extended on 30th October until 20th November 2020 (Government decision 1108 of 30th October 2020) Update 2: State of emergency was further extended on 16th November until 12th December 2020 (Government decision 1182 of 16th November 2020) ; 11/04/21 the State of Emergency ended.
