Free movement of people re-established; mass gatherings at maximum of 50 persons for outdoor settings and 10 for indoor settings. Sporting and cultural events can take place without audience. Museums and galleries can have 25% of their capacity of visitors. Extended by Government decision 1290 of 7th December 2020.

Government decision 1113 of 30th October 2020; extended by a decision 1201 of 20th November. Stay at home orders; except for these occasions (05:00-20:59): essential travels to work; essential visits to doctors; family members and shops; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; travels to spend time outdoors; presence at weddings or funerals (max 10 people). Stay in public places must be reduced to absolute minimum and people are only allowed to be in a group of maximum 2; except for members of family. Strict curfew from 21:00-04:59 except for: essential travel to work; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; and people can also walk their dogs max 500 meters from their home.; 23/11/2020 Government decision 1201 of 20th November. Stay at home orders; except for these occasions (05:00-22:59): essential travels to work; essential visits to doctors; family members and shops; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; travels to spend time outdoors; presence at weddings or funerals (max 10 people). Stay in public places must be reduced to absolute minimum and people are only allowed to be in a group of maximum 6; except for members of family. Measure MZDR 20588/2020-15 The measure applies to mass events such as theatre; music; film; and other artistic performances; sports; cultural; religious; association; dance; traditional; and other similar events and other gatherings; exhibitions; festivals; funfairs; shows; tastings; markets; and fairs; educational events; celebrations; both public and private. The maximum permitted attendance at indoor events in buildings is 500 persons. If the premises are divided into partitioned sectors; premises with a capacity of up to 1;000 persons and over 1;000 persons may be filled under specific conditions.

As of 13 March; 6:00 am; all sporting; cultural; religious and other activities both public and private involving more than 30 people are forbidden. This does not apply to meetings of the state administration (e.g. the judiciary; Government meetings; meetings of institutional bodies); or to funerals. All concerts; theatre shows and other cultural events and festivals that involve mainly singing are banned. Other cultural events are allowed with further measures in place (2m distance between visitors; each visitor must have a seat assigned; no food or drinks served; max 500 visitors). Measure limits sports events; namely sports competitions organized by sports associations – such events can be attended only by athletes and necessary persons providing organizational and technical background; including referees and persons providing news in the number of a maximum of 130 people within the indoor and outdoor sports fields.

10/04/2021: ban on concerts and other entertainment activities. Zoos and botanical gardens may reopen; with maximum admission of 20% of their capacity.;14/05/2021: concerts allowed only outside and can be attended at maximum 50% capacity of the venue; but not more than 700 people.;17/05/2021: concerts can take place. The capacity of the auditorium can be filled by a maximum of 50% and the total number of persons present must not exceed 500 inside and 1000 persons outside. All spectators must be seated so that there is at least one unoccupied seat between the minis (except for persons from one household). Upon arrival; all spectators must prove that one of the following entry conditions is met: 1) document a negative RT-PCR test not exceeding 7 days old; prove a negative POC (so-called antigenic) test not exceeding 72 hours old; 2) to prove the occurrence of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days before the day of the event; 3) administration of at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination; at least 22 days prior to the date of the event. In addition; everyone present must have a respirator on at all times without an exhalation valve of min. class FFP2 (KN95 / N95). It is not possible to consume food or drinks in the auditorium.;08/06/2021: concerts and mass events can take place under the following conditions: maximum capacity of 50% and the total number of persons present must not exceed 1000 inside and 2000 persons outside. All spectators must be seated so that there is at least one unoccupied seat between them (except for persons from one household). Upon arrival; all spectators must prove that one of the following entry conditions is met: 1) document a negative RT-PCR test not exceeding 7 days old; prove a negative POC (so-called antigenic) test not exceeding 72 hours old; 2) to prove the occurrence of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days before the day of the event; 3) administration of at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination; at least 22 days prior to the date of the event. In concerts; theatres etc. seats indoors may be occupied by a maximum of 75% and at the same time the event may not be attended by more than 2000 people and must also be observed hygienic rules.; 01/08/2021 when visiting zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must be no more than 1 person per 10 m2 (or 75%) indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.; 30/09/2021 In the case of the operation of catering establishments; music; dance; gaming and similar social clubs and discos; and casinos customers are always seated at a distance of at least 1.5 meters between them; except for customers sitting at the same table and maximum of 6 persons sit at one table. Dancing is possible only for persons who meet the conditions set out in point I / 16 or which have undergone a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus or a negative rapid antigen test (RAT); not more than 24 hours before entering that establishment. Visitors in zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must keep distancing of 1.5m indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.;01/11/2021: It is ordered to wear respiratory protective equipment with an efficiency of at least 94% in all interiors of buildings; with a few exceptions. Visitors in zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must keep distancing of 1.5m indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.; 22/11/2021 If more than 20 people are present on concerts; theater performances; etc.; all those present must comply with the ON rule (point I / 17) and observe the hygiene measures; there are a few exceptions to the ON rule.; 5/05/2022: all restrictions are lifted

Update; effective as of 8th June 2021: gyms are open; visitors must sustain 2m distance between each other and indoor gyms must have a sufficient air circulation ensured. Everyone must observe anti-pandemic measures; such as being tested or have min. 22 days after the first dose of vaccination. (MoH measure 14601/2021-18 of 7th June 2021).; 13/09/2021 Prohibit persons who show clinical signs of covid-19 or who do not meet the conditions laid down in point I / 16. In the case of group lessons; orders persons to keep a spacing of at least 1.5 meters between them. Government decision 471 of 17th May allowed 1 person per 15 m²; max. 2 persons together and max. 30 persons in total may be present in the indoor sports ground; at the same time everyone must observe anti-pandemic measures; such as being tested or have min. 22 days after the first dose of vaccination. Government decision 450 of 14th May 2021 allowed 1 person per 15m2; with a maximum of 10 people to be present at the venue. Ban on the use of shared facilities (showers; dressing rooms etc.).; 30/09/2021 Entry to the sports grounds is forbidden to persons who do not meet the ONT. Persons during group lessons must keep 1.5 m of distance.

Fitness centres reopened their indoor areas for up to 10 people; with mandatory max 1 person/15sqm; spacing of 2m between people. Outdoors sporting activities can take place with a group of maximum 10 people. special arrangements for showers and lockrooms. Extended by Government decision 1290 of 7th December 2020.

MoH measure 14601/2021-18 of 7th June: both indoor and outdoor seating areas are open; but distance of 1;5m must be maintained; max 4 people seated at the same table; unless they are members of the same household. Buffet option is allowed; pertaining that each portion is individually wrapped. No live music; except for weddings. Effective as of 8 June. Government decision 471 (annex 1) of 17th May 2021 stipulates that restaurants and cafes can have outside seating (gardens) open; but in compliance with anti-pandemic measures. Serving food and drink inside restaurants and cafes is prohibited.Previous measure: decision 450 of 14th May 2021.;01/09/2021 Customers are always seated so that there is a distance of at least 1.5 meters between them; with the exception of customers sitting at the same table. The maximum people sitting at a table is 6.; 16/03/2022: all measures around restaurants are repealed.

Closure of restaurants and cafes; with some exceptions; stipulated by Government decision 298 of 18th March 2021 and extended by decision 315 of 26th March 2021. Measure includes ban on drinking alcoholic drinks in public. The scale of the antipandemic system PES remains at 5; which is the highest. Government decision 1021 and 1078. Closure of restaurants; with exception of hotel restaurants. Hotel restaurants can only serve hotel guests; with physical distancing. Ban on serving food between 20:00-6:00. Hotels are only allowed to accommodate people traveling for business; foreigners with a work permit or foreigners until they leave the country; people in quarantine; homeless people and few other exceptions.; Government decision 1116 of 30th October 2020. Extended by decision 1201 of 20th November 2020 until 3rd December; when CZ moves to step 3 of PES (antipandemic system that includes up- and down-scaling of specific measures). Closure of restaurants; with exception of hotel restaurants. Hotel restaurants can only serve hotel guests; with physical distancing. Ban on serving food between 20:00-6:00. Hotels are only allowed to accommodate people traveling for business; foreigners with a work permit or foreigners until they leave the country; people in quarantine; homeless people and few other exceptions. Ban on consumption of alcoholic beverages in public.

Government decision 493 of 30th April 2020. All inner premises of restaurants and bars remain fully closed to public. Outdoor gardens of restaurants; bars and pubs can serve food; as well as sale of food and drinks through dispensing windows is possible.; 18/05/2020 MZDR 20581/2020-1 operation of dining facilities is restricted; in that their operators it is prohibited a) from allowing the presence of the public at the dining facilities; except for: - facilities which do not serve the public (e.g. employee dining facilities; dining facilities for healthcare service and social service providers; at prison facilities); - sale for consumption outside of the dining establishment (e.g. fast-food establishments with dispensing windows or take-out foods where the customer does not enter the establishment); - the outdoor areas of dining facilities; b) sales at dining facilities located within shopping centers with a sales area exceeding 5;000 m2.; 25/05/2020 MZDR 20581/2020-3 I. the operation of dining facility establishments is restricted; in that their operators are prohibited from allowing the presence of the public in the dining facilities between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.; except for: - facilities which do not serve the public (e.g. employee dining facilities; dining facilities for healthcare service and social service providers; at prison facilities); - sale for consumption outside of the dining establishment (e.g. via dispensing windows or take-out foods where the customer does not enter the establishment); II. it is prohibited to consume food; including beverages; on public premises at their place of sale in other than cases of an essential need for refreshment; if these foods are intended for direct consumption; and in such case to remain at a distance of at least 10 meters from the store; service window; etc. to consume them.

Government decision 299 of 18th March 2021 strongly recommends that people in their places of residence/households gather exclusively only with their family members. When meeting with people outside of the household; FFP2 or KN95 respirator should be used. Extended by decision 315 of 26th March 2021. This decision was preceded by Government decision 1375 of 23rd December 2020; extended by decision 12 of 7th January 2021; decision 56 of 22nd January 2021; decision 79 of 28th January 2021; decision 127 of 14th February 2021 and decision 216 of 26th February 2021. Gatherings limited to maximum 2 persons; except for family members.

Stipulated by government decision 438 of 6th May 2021. The right to peacefuly gather is amended as follows: a) each participant is obliged to have a respiratory protective device (nose; mouth) that prevents the spread of droplets; in accordance with an extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health; which regulates the obligation to use a respiratory protective device; b) if the meeting takes place outside the interior of the buildings; its participants may gather in groups of up to 20 participants and observe a spacing between groups of participants of at least 2 meters; c) if the assembly takes place in the interior of buildings; its participants must; with the exception of household members; keep a distance of at least 2 meters and disinfect their hands before entering the interior.; 17/05/2021: stipulated that celebrations; parties; festivities and similar events are allowed for a limited number of people; 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. In addition; at least one of the following conditions must be met: all undergo a PCR test (max. 7 days before); an antigen test (max. 72 hours before); be vaccinated; or have undergone covid-19 in the last 180 days. If at least one of the above conditions is not met; the limit of a maximum of 10 people in one place applies. The obligation to have the mouth and nose covered by a respirator or other protective device without an exhalation valve with a filtration efficiency of at least 94% (class FFP2 / KN 95) or a surgical mask still applies.; 7/06/2021: stipulates that both private and public gatherings are allowed for max 200 people indoors and 500 people indoors. In addition; at least one of the following conditions must be met: all undergo a PCR test (max. 7 days before); an antigen test (max. 72 hours before); be vaccinated; or have undergone covid-19 in the last 180 days. If at least one of the above conditions is not met; the limit of a maximum of 10 people in one place applies. The obligation to have the mouth and nose covered by a respirator or other protective device without an exhalation valve with a filtration efficiency of at least 94% (class FFP2 / KN 95) or a surgical mask still applies; unless 2m distance can be sustained.; 26/06/2021: The right to peacefully assemble is restricted so as to limit the size of a group of people assembling to 20 persons pursuant to other regulations. If a gathering takes place outside of the inner premises of a building; its participants may gather groupwise and the group size must not exceed 20 persons. If it takes place on the inner premises of a building; its participants (with the exception of mutual household members) are obligated to keep a 2-meter safe distance.; 05/05/2022: all pandemic restrictions are lifted.

Gottesdienste und ähnliche religiöse Versammlungen können abgehalten werden; Es müssen jedoch alle hygienischen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen eingehalten werden. Es ist obligatorisch, einen Abstand von 2 Metern zu anderen Personen einzuhalten, die in derselben Reihe sitzen. Personen, die im gleichen Haushalt leben, sind von dieser Regelung ausgenommen. Während des gesamten Dienstes; es gilt eine Atemschutz- oder Mundschutzpflicht. Textile Gesichtsmasken oder (Kopf-)Tücher gelten nicht mehr als ausreichende persönliche Schutzausrüstung. Beim Betreten der Innenräume einer Kirche; Alle Teilnehmer eines Gottesdienstes sind verpflichtet, ihre Hände zu desinfizieren. ; 14.03.2022: Masken- und andere Beschränkungen für Kultstätten aufgehoben.

14.03.2022 Maskenpflicht (Abscheidegrad von mindestens 94%) in medizinischen Einrichtungen; soziale Einrichtungen; wie wöchentliche Krankenhäuser; Behindertenheime; Altenheime und Heime mit Sonderregelungen; und Einrichtungen, die entlastende soziale Dienste in Wohnform anbieten; und in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Kinder unter 15 Jahren; wer an diesen Orten andere Schutzausrüstung tragen darf; wie eine medizinische Gesichtsmaske oder ein ähnliches Gerät, das mindestens alle technischen Bedingungen und Anforderungen erfüllt; 14.04.2022: Auch im Freien ist das Tragen von Atemschutz erforderlich; wenn es in dem gegebenen Bereich eine Ansammlung von Personen gibt (Konzerte, Sportveranstaltungen usw.) und mehrere andere Situationen; 14.04.2022: Das Tragen einer Atemschutzmaske in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in ganz Tschechien ist nicht mehr vorgeschrieben. Heutzutage ist das Tragen der Atemschutzmaske nur noch in Gesundheitseinrichtungen und sozialen Einrichtungen vorgeschrieben.

21.10.2020: Maskenpflicht in: allen geschlossenen Räumen (ausgenommen Haushalte und Hotelzimmer); alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel; einschließlich Bahnsteige und Warteräume; in allen motorisierten Fahrzeugen; außer wenn alle Passagiere Mitglieder desselben Haushalts sind; in allen öffentlichen Räumen; wo sich mindestens zwei Personen treffen können und weniger als 2 m voneinander entfernt sind; es sei denn, sie sind Mitglieder desselben Haushalts.; 12.03.2020: Mundschutzpflicht im Freien, wenn ein Abstand von 2m nicht eingehalten werden kann. ; 01.03.2021: Jeder muss an allen öffentlich zugänglichen Orten Atemschutzgeräte (Mund und Nase) wie z. B. ein Atemschutzgerät ohne Atembeatmung (FFP2; KN 95) oder 2 medizinische Gesichtsmasken tragen; Atemschutzpflicht in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln; Geschäfte und bei der Arbeit. Selbstgemachten Textilmasken wird kein nennenswerter Schutz mehr zugesprochen. ; 06.05.2021: Obligatorische Gesichtsschutzbedeckungen mit einer Wirksamkeit der Filterung von mindestens 94 % der Partikel (z. B. Atemschutzmasken FFP2 und KN 95; chirurgische Masken mit angemessenem technischen Standard) in allen öffentlichen Räumen. ; 06.07.2021: Obligatorische Gesichtsschutzbedeckungen mit einer Wirksamkeit der Filterung von mindestens 94 % der Partikel (z. B. Atemschutzmasken FFP2 und KN 95) in allen öffentlichen Räumen; es sei denn, der Sicherheitsabstand von 2m kann eingehalten werden (mit Ausnahme von gleichen Haushaltsmitgliedern). Keine Maskenpflicht für Studierende; Lehrer und Mitarbeiter, wenn sie sitzen.; 31.08.21 Maskenpflicht außerhalb des Wohn- oder Unterkunftsortes (z. B. eines Hotelzimmers), wenn sich mindestens 2 Personen mit einem Abstand von weniger als 1,5 Metern am gleichen Ort und zur gleichen Zeit aufhalten; mit Ausnahme derselben Haushaltsmitglieder.; 25.10.2021: Arbeitnehmer müssen eine Atemschutzmaske tragen, es sei denn, sie sind allein.; 11.01.2021: Im Freien ist das Tragen von Atemschutz erforderlich; wenn mehr als 30 Personen am gleichen Ort sind und es nicht möglich ist, einen Abstand von 1,5 m zu ihnen einzuhalten. Das Tragen von Atemschutzgeräten mit einem Wirkungsgrad von mindestens 94 % innerhalb von Gebäuden ist angeordnet; Ungeimpfte Lehrer müssen eine Atemschutzmaske tragen.; 14.12.2021 Das Tragen eines FFP2 im Freien ist erforderlich; bei großer Dichte in der Umgebung (Konzerte, Sportveranstaltungen usw.). Atemschutzgeräte mit einer Wirksamkeit von mindestens 94 % sind in allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln vorgeschrieben (FFP2).

MoH measure 14597/2021-1 of 6th April 2021 stipulates that visits to health care and social care facilities are allowed; but conditioned by a negative RT-PCR or antigen test not older than 48 hours; prove that the visitor had COVID-19 in the period of not more than 90 days before the date of the visit; a proof of having been vaccinated against COVID-19 (MoH certificate) with at least 14 days having had passed since the last dose of the vaccine (the second for two-dose vaccines; the first for single-dose vaccines). Extended by measure 14597/2021-3 of 7th June 2021.; 8/06/2021: the Ministry of Health restricts patient visits to health care and social care facilities are allowed; but conditioned patient visits to healthcare facilities for all health service providers; so that a visit can only be admitted if the person visiting the patient proves that he meets the following conditions: a) no later than 7 days before RT-PCR examination for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus with a negative result; or b) the person has passed a POC test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen with a negative result no later than 72 hours ago; or c) the person has been vaccinated against covid-19 and is evidenced by a national certificate of vaccination (1st or 2nd dose after 22 days and single dose after 14 days).; 09/07/2021: The person visiting has been vaccinated against covid-19 and proves by the national certificate of vaccination or national certificate of completion of vaccination that the vaccination has passed (14 days after 2nd dose or 14 days after first dose in case of a single dose vaccine).;15/11/2021: The person visiting needs a) to be vaccinated and accompanied by a national vaccination certificate or a certificate issued in accordance with the European Union's EU COVID Regulation; provided that at least 14 days have elapsed since the completed vaccination schedule; b) to has undergone a negative RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 with a negative result no later than 72 hours ago; or c) to has undergone a negative antigen test (RAT) for SARS-CoV-2 antigen with a negative result no later than 24 hours.

26/06/2021 The maximum number of spectators; visitors or listeners may not exceed 5000 in the case of an outdoor event. Spectators are instructed to maintain a spacing of at least 2 meters in the standing sectors; unless they are from a common household.; 01/08/2021 The event may not be attended by more than 3;000 people indoors; there may be up to 3;000 people outside. Spectators are instructed to maintain a spacing of at least 2 meters in the standing sectors. Indoor and outdoor hygiene rules must also be observed.; 01/09/2021 A maximum of 1000 people if the event takes place indoors; or 2000 people if the event takes place exclusively outdoors.;

26/06/2021 The maximum number of spectators present; if the event takes place indoors; shall not exceed 2000 and no more than 75% of the total seating capacity may be present. All spectators must be seated.; 01/08/2021 The maximum number of spectators present; if the event takes place indoors; shall not exceed 3000 and no more than 100% of the total seating capacity may be present. All spectators must be seated.; 01/09/2021 A maximum of 1000 people if the event takes place indoors; or 2000 people if the event takes place exclusively outdoors.;

From 31 August 2020 from 00:00 the Prison Service of the Czech Republic is ordered to issue a decision on temporary joint accommodation of work-convicted convicts serving a prison in a low and medium security prison or in a medium and high security level so as to reduce the risk endangerment of the spread of COVID-19 disease in convicts and staff of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic; provided that convicts will be accommodated together according to their placement in the workplace. Extended by a measure 1202 of 20th November 2020.

1/09/2020: All persons shall be prohibited from staying and moving outside their homes without respiratory protective equipment. Face masks are mandatory at: - at public offices (places which serve to meet with the public). - at healthcare facilities; - at social service facilities (weekly care centres; homes for persons with medical handicaps; homes for senior citizens and homes with a special regime; and at facilities providing facilitating social services in residential form); - at polling stations; - in public transit vehicles (city public transport; intercity buses and trains; taxis); - during indoor mass events for more than 100 participants. ; 10/09/2020: Face masks are mandatory at: - all indoor spaces and public transport. MoH measure 14601/2021-18 of 7th June: both indoor and outdoor seating areas are open; but distance of 1;5m must be maintained; max 4 people seated at the same table; unless they are members of the same household. Buffet option is allowed; pertaining that each portion is individually wrapped. No live music; except for weddings. Effective as of 8 June. Government decision 471 (annex 1) of 17th May 2021 stipulates that restaurants and cafes can have outside seating (gardens) open; but in compliance with anti-pandemic measures. Serving food and drink inside restaurants and cafes is prohibited. Previous measure: decision 450 of 14th May 2021.; 01/09/2021 Customers are always seated so that there is a distance of at least 1.5 meters between them; with the exception of customers sitting at the same table. The maximum people sitting at a table is 6.

10/04/2021: ban on concerts and other entertainment activities. Zoos and botanical gardens may reopen; with maximum admission of 20% of their capacity.;14/05/2021: concerts allowed only outside and can be attended at maximum 50% capacity of the venue; but not more than 700 people.;17/05/2021: concerts can take place. The capacity of the auditorium can be filled by a maximum of 50% and the total number of persons present must not exceed 500 inside and 1000 persons outside. All spectators must be seated so that there is at least one unoccupied seat between the minis (except for persons from one household). Upon arrival; all spectators must prove that one of the following entry conditions is met: 1) document a negative RT-PCR test not exceeding 7 days old; prove a negative POC (so-called antigenic) test not exceeding 72 hours old; 2) to prove the occurrence of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days before the day of the event; 3) administration of at least the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination; at least 22 days prior to the date of the event. In addition; everyone present must have a respirator on at all times without an exhalation valve of min. class FFP2 (KN95 / N95). It is not possible to consume food or drinks in the auditorium.;08/06/2021: concerts and mass events can take place under the following conditions: maximum capacity of 50% and the total number of persons present must not exceed 1000 inside and 2000 persons outside. All spectators must be seated so that there is at least one unoccupied seat between them (except for persons from one household). In concerts; theatres etc. seats indoors may be occupied by a maximum of 75% and at the same time the event may not be attended by more than 2000 people and must also be observed hygienic rules.; 01/08/2021 when visiting zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must be no more than 1 person per 10 m2 (or 75%) indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.; 30/09/2021 In the case of the operation of catering establishments; music; dance; gaming and similar social clubs and discos; and casinos customers are always seated at a distance of at least 1.5 meters between them; except for customers sitting at the same table and maximum of 6 persons sit at one table. Dancing is possible only for persons who meet the conditions set out in point I / 16 or which have undergone a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus or a negative rapid antigen test (RAT); not more than 24 hours before entering that establishment. Visitors in zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must keep distancing of 1.5m indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.; From 01/11/2021 It is ordered to wear respiratory protective equipment with an efficiency of at least 94% in all interiors of buildings; with a few exceptions. Visitors in zoos; botanical gardens; museums; galleries; exhibition spaces; castles; chateaux and similar historical or cultural objects; observatories and planetariums must keep distancing of 1.5m indoors; participants in the group inspection must comply with the ONT; otherwise a maximum of 20 persons may participate.; 22/11/2021 If more than 20 people are present on concerts; theater performances; etc.; all those present must comply with the ON rule (point I / 17) and observe the hygiene measures; there are a few exceptions to the ON rule.

Update; effective as of 8th June 2021: gyms are open; visitors must sustain 2m distance between each other and indoor gyms must have a sufficient air circulation ensured. Everyone must observe anti-pandemic measures; such as being tested or have min. 22 days after the first dose of vaccination. (MoH measure 14601/2021-18 of 7th June 2021).; 13/09/2021 Prohibit persons who show clinical signs of covid-19 or who do not meet the conditions laid down in point I / 16. In the case of group lessons; orders persons to keep a spacing of at least 1.5 meters between them. Government decision 471 of 17th May allowed 1 person per 15 m²; max. 2 persons together and max. 30 persons in total may be present in the indoor sports ground; at the same time everyone must observe anti-pandemic measures; such as being tested or have min. 22 days after the first dose of vaccination. Government decision 450 of 14th May 2021 allowed 1 person per 15m2; with a maximum of 10 people to be present at the venue. Ban on the use of shared facilities (showers; dressing rooms etc.).; 30/09/2021 Entry to the sports grounds is forbidden to persons who do not meet the ONT. Persons during group lessons must keep 1.5 m of distance.

In Prague region; as of 1 July; the obligation to wear a mask applies to the metro and its premises; indoor spaces for mass events over 100 people and distances between participants less than 1.5 meters (e.g. cinemas; theatres; concerts). In Moravian-Silesian Region; as of 1 July; the obligation to wear a mask applies to indoor spaces for mass events over 100 people; and to persons who are in contact with clients at a distance of less than 1.5 meters due to their occupation (e.g. processing and production of food; cosmetics treatment; water treatment and water supply; the operation of barbershops; hairdressers; pedicures etc.); with the exception of catering services. Replaced by a nation-wide measure effective from 1st September 2020.

MoH measure 14598/2021-1 of 6th April 2021 stipulates conditions under which visits to prisons are allowed. From 12 April 2021; the possibility of visits to prisons; remand prisons and institutions for the performance of security detention is renewed. The visit may be carried out by two persons at the same time with mandatory use of a respirator of class FFP2 (KN 95) without an exhalation valve or other protective device with a filtering effect of at least 94%. Children under the age of two do not need to have any respiratory protection and a veil is enough for children from the age of two to fifteen. ; 10/21 Restrictions are lifted; but visitors have to have their mouths and noses covered by a respirator of class FFP2 (KN 95) without an exhalation valve or other protective device with a filtering effect of at least 94%. if it is not possible to keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters from others.

Accommodation services are open; but guests must not have symptoms of covid-19; complete min. 72 hours before accommodation antigen test; or 7 days before PCR test; have at least 22 days after the 1st dose of vaccination (but not more than 90); or demonstrate covid-19 before a maximum of 180 days. If at least one of the above conditions is not met; the limit of a maximum of 10 people in one place applies. The obligation to have the mouth and nose covered by a respirator or other protective device without an exhalation valve with a filtration efficiency of at least 94% (class FFP2 / KN 95) or a surgical mask still applies; unless 2m distance can be sustained. Government decision 471 of 17th May 2021 stipulated that celebrations; parties; festivities and similar events are allowed for a limited number of people; 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. In addition; at least one of the following conditions must be met: all undergo a PCR test (max. 7 days before); an antigen test (max. 72 hours before); be vaccinated; or have undergone covid-19 in the last 180 days. If at least one of the above conditions is not met; the limit of a maximum of 10 people in one place applies. The obligation to have the mouth and nose covered by a respirator or other protective device without an exhalation valve with a filtration efficiency of at least 94% (class FFP2 / KN 95) or a surgical mask still applies. Previous measures: government decision 450 of 14th May stipulated that private gatherings were allowed at maximum 10 people indoors and 50 outdoors. Compulsory PCR; antigen or vaccination proof and face masks as per respective measure. Stipulated by government decision 438 of 6th May 2021. The right to peacefuly gather is amended as follows: a) each participant is obliged to have a respiratory protective device (nose; mouth) that prevents the spread of droplets; in accordance with an extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health; which regulates the obligation to use a respiratory protective device; b) if the meeting takes place outside the interior of the buildings; its participants may gather in groups of up to 20 participants and observe a spacing between groups of participants of at least 2 meters; c) if the assembly takes place in the interior of buildings; its participants must; with the exception of household members; keep a distance of at least 2 meters and disinfect their hands before entering the interior.; 26/06/2021: The right to peacefully assemble is restricted so as to limit the size of a group of people assembling to 20 persons pursuant to other regulations. If a gathering takes place outside of the inner premises of a building; its participants may gather groupwise and the group size must not exceed 20 persons. If it takes place on the inner premises of a building; its participants (with the exception of mutual household members) are obligated to keep a 2-meter safe distance.

Government decision 450 stipulates that a public gathering of up to 50 people is allowed pertaining that one of the following conditions is fulfilled: 1) passing the PCR test in the last 7 days; 2) passing the POC test in the last 72 hours; 3) have a laboratory-confirmed history of covid-19 disease that is not older than 180 days; 4) have at least 22 days after the first dose of the vaccine; with no more than 90 days between the first and second dose and no more than 9 months between the second dose; in the case of a single-dose vaccine; at least 14 days but not more than 9 months must have elapsed since vaccination. If one of the above conditions is not fulfilled; the maximum number of people in one place outdoors is 2.

Government decision 299 of 18th March 2021 strongly recommends that people in their places of residence/households gather exclusively only with their family members. Government decision 1262 of 30th November. On 3rd December; CZ is moving to step 3 of the antipandemic system PES (link to the scale and respective measures attached above). Free movement of people re-established; mass gatherings at maximum of 10 people for indoor settings or 50 persons in outdoor areas. Sporting and cultural events can take place without audience. Museums and galleries can have 25% of their capacity of visitors. Extended by Government decision 1290 of 7th December 2020.

Government decision 1021 and 1078. Closure of restaurants; with exception of hotel restaurants. Hotel restaurants can only serve hotel guests; with physical distancing. Ban on serving food between 20:00-6:00. Hotels are only allowed to accommodate people traveling for business; foreigners with a work permit or foreigners until they leave the country; people in quarantine; homeless people and few other exceptions.

The following rules apply from 1 September for visitors to inpatient healthcare facilities and selected social service facilities: a maximum of two people are allowed to visit one patient at the same time; each person visiting the patient will be asked whether they exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 disease; e.g. in the form of a questionnaire; if the visitor exhibits any positive symptoms corresponding to the disease; they will not be allowed to visit the patient. The aforementioned restrictions do not apply to the presence of visitors with patients in terminal stages of incurable diseases. If possible; visits should take place in the outdoor areas of the facility (garden; common terrace; etc.) or in single rooms or in a room reserved for this purpose. Disinfection of surfaces with a virucidal agent must be performed regularly;face masks must be worn. ; 08/10 Replaced by a nation-wide measure (ban on all visits to hospitals).

MZDR 20581/2020-1 operation of dining facilities is restricted; in that their operators it is prohibited a) from allowing the presence of the public at the dining facilities; except for: - facilities which do not serve the public (e.g. employee dining facilities; dining facilities for healthcare service and social service providers; at prison facilities); - sale for consumption outside of the dining establishment (e.g. fast-food establishments with dispensing windows or take-out foods where the customer does not enter the establishment); - the outdoor areas of dining facilities; b) sales at dining facilities located within shopping centers with a sales area exceeding 5;000 m2

All hotels and other providers of accommodation only allowed to accommodate guests traveling for work and business purposes; foreigners with a work permit; homeless persons; persons in quarantine and few other exceptions. It is allowed to consume alcohol in public speaces. No wifi services at restaurants and cafes. Extended by Government decision 1290 of 7th December 2020.

Government decision 1113 of 30th October 2020. People are only allowed to gather in a group of 2 in both outdoor and indoor public spaces; except for members of the same household; co-workers; children in daycare and other care. Gatherings in all public spaces must be limited to the absolute minimum. Places of worship can only be visited for individual prayers. Mandatory 2m distance whenever it is possible.

Government decision 1116 of 30th October 2020. Extended by decision 1201 of 20th November 2020 until 3rd December; when CZ moves to step 3 of PES (antipandemic system that includes up- and down-scaling of specific measures). Closure of restaurants; with exception of hotel restaurants. Hotel restaurants can only serve hotel guests; with physical distancing. Ban on serving food between 20:00-6:00. Hotels are only allowed to accommodate people traveling for business; foreigners with a work permit or foreigners until they leave the country; people in quarantine; homeless people and few othe exceptions. Ban on consumption of alcoholic beverages in public.

Government decision 1113 of 30th October 2020; extended by a decision 1201 of 20th November. Stay at home orders; except for these occasions (05:00-20:59): essential travels to work; essential visits to doctors; family members and shops; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; travels to spend time outdoors; presence at weddings or funerals (max 10 people). Stay in public places must be reduced to absolute minimum and people are only allowed to be in a group of maximum 2; except for members of family. Strict curfew from 21:00-04:59 except for: essential travel to work; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; and people can also walk their dogs max 500 metres from their home.

Government decision 1201 of 20th November. Stay at home orders; except for these occasions (05:00-22:59): essential travels to work; essential visits to doctors; family members and shops; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; travels to spend time outdoors; presence at weddings or funerals (max 10 people). Stay in public places must be reduced to absolute minimum and people are only allowed to be in a group of maximum 6; except for members of family. Strict curfew from 23:00-04:59 except for: essential travel to work; emergency travels to protect one's life/health/property; and people can also walk their dogs max 500 metres from their home.

All concerts; theatre shows and other cultural events and festivals that involve mainly singing are banned. Other cultural events are allowed with further measures in place (2m distance between visitors; each visitor must have a seat assigned; no food or drinks served; max 500 visitors). Measure limits sports events; namely sports competitions organized by sports associations – such events can be attended only by athletes and necessary persons providing organizational and technical background; including referees and persons providing news in the number of a maximum of 130 people within the indoor and outdoor sports fields.

MZDR 20581/2020-3 I. the operation of dining facility establishments is restricted; in that their operators are prohibited from allowing the presence of the public in the dining facilities between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.; except for: - facilities which do not serve the public (e.g. employee dining facilities; dining facilities for healthcare service and social service providers; at prison facilities); - sale for consumption outside of the dining establishment (e.g. via dispensing windows or take-out foods where the customer does not enter the establishment); II. it is prohibited to consume food; including beverages; on public premises at their place of sale in other than cases of an essential need for refreshment; if these foods are intended for direct consumption; and in such case to remain at a distance of at least 10 meters from the store; service window; etc. to consume them;

MZDR 20581/2020-1 the operation of accommodation facilities is restricted in that their operators are prohibited from selling accommodation services; except for entities providing accommodation at hostels; spa facilities (for the purpose of providing therapeutic spa rehabilitation care) and school accommodation facilities; this prohibition does not apply to the sale and provision of accommodation services: - to persons engaged in the performance of an occupation; business or other similar activity; - to foreigners until they leave the Czech Republic and foreigners with a work permit in the Czech Republic; - to persons who have been ordered into quarantine by the public health authority; and - to persons threatened by domestic violence.

Government decision 1021. Closure of music and dance clubs; ban on live music and dance. Closure of museums; galleries; exhibitions; castles; zoos. Closure of casinos and betting shops. Limit on any cultural and sports event of 6 people. Any public spaces - groups of maximum 6 people. Ban on alcohol consumption in public spaces. Other measures included in this decision. Replaced by a stricter measure - government decision 1078 of 21st oct.

One municipality in Plzen region – Contact with other persons is limited to the necessary time; a maximum of 2 persons can be accommodated in publicly accessible places; with the exception of: members of the household; occupation; business or other similar activities; participation in a funeral. When in contact with other persons; a distance of at least 2 meters should be maintained; if possible. Measure ended on 2nd September 2020.

The measure applies to mass events such as theatre; music; film; and other artistic performances; sports; cultural; religious; association; dance; traditional; and other similar events and other gatherings; exhibitions; festivals; funfairs; shows; tastings; markets; and fairs; educational events; celebrations; both public and private. The maximum permitted attendance at indoor events in buildings is 500 persons; providing that all participants have a dedicated seat at least 2 metres appart. Providing there is no dedicated seating; the maximum is set at 10 participants. Measure ceased in effect as it was replaced by Government decision 958 of 30th September; which came into effect on 5th October.

Measure MZDR 20588/2020-15 The measure applies to mass events such as theatre; music; film; and other artistic performances; sports; cultural; religious; association; dance; traditional; and other similar events and other gatherings; exhibitions; festivals; funfairs; shows; tastings; markets; and fairs; educational events; celebrations; both public and private. The maximum permitted attendance at indoor events in buildings is 500 persons. If the premises are divided into partitioned sectors; premises with a capacity of up to 1;000 persons and over 1;000 persons may be filled under specific conditions.

Ref MZDR 20588/2020-17. The maximum permitted attendance at outdoor events is 1;000 persons. If the premises are divided into partitioned sectors; premises with a capacity of over 1;000 persons may be filled; providing that all participants have a dedicated seat with at least 2 metres between seats. For outdoor events without dedicated seating for participants; the limit is set at 50. Measure ceased in effect as it was replaced by Government decision 958 of 30th September.
