The decree bans entry to all non-Hungarian citizens from Botswana; Eswatini; Lesotho; Mozambique; Namibia; the Republic of South Africa and Zimbabwe; with the exception of those given special permission by the authorities.

A Hungarian citizen can enter a country marked with a green without control. Entering a country marked in yellow or red; they are subjected to health checks at the border and must be quarantined for 14 days. An exception to this is if you can credibly show two negative coronavirus tests 48 hours apart in the previous 5 days. A Hungarian citizen from a country marked in yellow may be released from quarantine after the first coronavirus test; while in the case of a country marked in red; two negative tests are required. In the case of non-Hungarian citizens; citizens of countries marked with a yellow sign can enter under the same conditions as Hungarian citizens; but it is not possible to enter a country marked with a red sign; he said.

starting from Sept. 1st not Hungarian citizen cannot enter to the country. For Hungarians, coming back from abroad, the 14 days quarantine is compulsory or 2x negative tests within 48 hours are necessary. (exceptions are for goods movement, diplomats, working necessity etc)
From the 27th of March; a curfew restriction came into force; which means that for a two week period people are only allowed to leave their residences for work or basic needs; as well as they have to keep 1.5-meter distance in public places.
