Vaccination requirements

  • Definition of Fully Vaccinated: Vaccination is not required for travel but if you are fully vaccinated you may face less travel restrictions. Passengers aged 18 years and older are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they have received the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine within the last 9 months, or the first dose of 1-dose vaccine at least 14 days but no longer than 9 months prior to travel, or if they have received a booster dose. Passengers aged younger than 18 years are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they have received the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine within the last 9 months, or if at least 14 days but no longer than 9 months have passed since they have received 1 dose of one-dose vaccine.
    • Approved vaccines: AstraZeneca (Covishield, SK Bioscience, Vaxzervia), Covaxin, Johnson and Johnson, Moderna, Novavax (Nuvaxovid), Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm (BBIBP-CorV), Sinovac (CoronaVac), Sputnik (Sputnik V, Gam-Covid-Vac), and Sputnik (Sputnik Light only as booster dose).
    • Passengers must hold a European Digital Covid-19 Vaccination or Recovery Certificate (EUDCC), or an equivalent certificate from third countries.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers aged older than 12 years must either hold a negative PCR test certificate obtained within 72 hours prior to departure or a negative rapid antigen test result obtained within 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who hold proof that they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • Other exempt passengers: Passengers who hold proof that they have recovered from Covid-19, provided their first positive test result was obtained with 180 days prior to travel.

Quarantine and testing on arrival

  • Passengers may be subject to a temperature check and a random PCR or rapid antigen test on arrival. Passengers who refuse to take the test must quarantine in a government facility for 10 days at their own expense.

Northern Cyprus

Vaccination requirements

  • Passengers are considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19 if they hold proof that they have received the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine or one dose of a 1-dose vaccine at least 14 days but not more than 270 days prior to arrival, or if they have received a booster dose. Passengers may receive 2 doses of different vaccines. Passengers are also considered fully vaccinated if they hold proof that have recovered from Covid-19 in the form of a positive PCR test obtained at least 10 days but no more than 180 days prior to arrival.
    • Passengers who have not received a booster dose of the vaccine will be treated as unvaccinated when completing the Adapass check. This does not apply to passengers aged younger than 18 years, provided they have received the second of a 2-dose vaccine or 1 dose of a 1-dose vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival.

  • Accepted vaccines:
    • Johnson and Johnson (1 dose);
    • AstraZeneca (Covishield, Vaxzevria) (2 doses);
    • CanSino Biologics (2 doses);
    • Covaxin (2 doses);
    • Moderna (2 doses);
    • Novavax (2 doses);
    • Pfizer-BioNTech (2 doses);
    • Sinopharm (2 doses);
    • Sinovac (2 doses);
    • Sputnik (Sputnik V) (2 doses); and
    • Turkovac (2 doses).

Form requirements

  • Passengers aged 18 years and older must complete the Adapass Passenger Form prior to arrival and receive a valid QR code. Passengers without a smart device may visit the Adapass website to complete the form and hold a digital or printed copy.
  • Passengers aged 6 years and older must submit a completed Entry Form on the Stay Safe app (Güvende Kal) or website.

Test requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must either hold a negative PCR test result obtained within 72 hours prior to travel or a negative antigen test result obtained within 24 hours prior to travel.
  • Vaccinated passengers: Test is not required for passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Testing on arrival requirements

  • Unvaccinated passengers: Passengers must take a PCR test within 72-120 hours after arrival.
  • Vaccinated passengers: This does not apply to passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
