03/09/2021 At higher education for up to a maximum of two thirds (2/3) of the capacity of the teaching rooms is required either a negative laboratory test or a rapid antigen detection test for the disease of COVID-19 with sampling completed within 72 hours; or a vaccination certificate for COVID-19 (at least one dose); or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 disease; valid for six months from the date of their initial positive diagnosis. For up to 100% capacity of the teaching rooms is required either a vaccination certificate for COVID-19 or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 disease; valid for six months from the date of their initial positive diagnosis.; 21/02/2022: At higher education for up to a maximum of two thirds (2/3) of the capacity of the teaching rooms is required either a vaccination certificate for COVID-19 or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 disease; if 100% of capacity a vaccination or recovery certificate is required.
Distance learning. Since 10 May the Higher Educational Institutes could operate at their premises and do not with distance learning. Professors and students have to demonstrate either one negative PCR/rapid test for COVID-19 per week or having received at least one dose of a vaccine three weeks earlier or having contracted the virus in the past six months.

This measure is only for lyceum (teenagers between the ages of 16 to 18 years). Since 10 of January 2021 the closure of secondary schools includes also students between the ages of 13 to 15 years old. Students will continue their education through distance learning.
