The Ministry of Health published an updated pandemic plan (approved on 11 August 2020) based on which the situation is categorized as stages 0 to 4. In Stage 3; Stage 3: More than 75 percent of hospital beds in clinics designated for infectious diseases are occupied. If the situation continues worsening and the number of infected people is still on the rise. Stage 3: A national emergency will be declared and measures from the previous stage will continue. This includes the disinfection of places with many people; as well as pavements and places close to quarantined localities.

These mass events must be reported to the relevant regional public health authority no later than 48 hours before the start; stating the exact time and place of the event. First level of primary school pupils and children in pre-school establishments: a mask is optional in the classroom; but it will be mandatory in school interiors outside the classroom; with the exception of food consumption.
