On May 25th Iceland lifted the gatherings from 50 to 200 people. From June 15 gatherings of up to 500 people are allowed. On July 30 gathering limits were again set to 100; excluding children born born 2005 and younger. On September 4th it was again announced that the maximum size of gatherings will be increased from 100 to 200 people on Monday; 7 September 2020. From October 4th mass gatherings are restricted to 20 people; with certain exemptions to this rule.
