In Germany; quarantine regulations are issued by the individual federal states. After coordination of the states and the federal government the cabinet took note of a new model regulation. On this basis; the federal states issued their own regulations on November 8; 2020. If a person stayed in a high risk area When entering Germany having a previous stay in a risk area (>=50 cases per 100 000 inhabitants during the past 7 days) within the past 10 days prior to entry; this person has to go to 10 days quarantine. A negative COVID-19 test after 5 days can release a person from quarantine early.
