Trainings are only allowed for: top sports athletes (international; world- or Olympic-class) and athletes in age groups cadets and juniors; who are members of national teams. Sport and exercise outdoors are allowed within the region of residence for individuals; immediate family members or members of the same household; provided that appropriate distance is ensured.

Food and beverages are allowed on the terraces and gardens of restaurants in Jugovzhodna Slovenija and the Posavje statistical region. The following measures must be strictly observed: a) The catering activity may be carried out between 6 am and 7 pm b) Guests must leave the terraces and gardens no later than 30 minutes after the end of the permitted operation c) Service is allowed only behind tables and taking into account the distance between persons 1.5 meters and at least 3 meters between the edges of the tables d) A maximum of 4 people can sit at one table e) Guests are allowed to enter the closed part of the restaurant only for the use of toilet f) Employees and guests must have the mask installed at all times; guests only remove it when sitting at a table g) Employees must be tested once a week; except for those who have adequate evidence of vaccination or illness. NOTE: This measure started on 15 March 2021; but was interrupted from 1 to 11 April; when stricter measures were in place.

Ordinance on the temporary prohibition of public gathering at public meetings and public events and other events in public places in the Republic of Slovenia.

Prohibition on mass gatherings of people in public places The movement of individuals in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia is not restricted; however, people are advised to consistently comply with all necessary protective measures. By way of exception, only individual groups of up to 50 people may gather at the same place at the same time, but only if they can maintain the required safety distance; this has been allowed by a government ordinance. Similar restrictions apply to people gathering at certain public institutions, such as theatres and cinemas, where up to 50 individuals may attend individual events at the same time, provided that they keep the required safety distance and adhere to other protective measures. In addition, accommodation providers with more than 30 rooms are open and available again, as are spa accommodations, wellness centres, gyms, swimming pools, and water activities. Until further notice, discos and night clubs remain closed, as do stores on Sundays and holidays, except for petrol stations and pharmacies, which may be open. Caution and observance of protective measures are also mandatory when using public transport In Slovenia, for the time being, the public transport system is fully adapted in order to reduce the potential risk of spreading infections between passengers. It is mandatory for passengers, inter alia, to wear a protective mask or other means of protecting the nose and mouth area throughout the whole duration of the transport. However, special care must be taken to not touch one’s mask while wearing it, as this could lead to contamination of one’s hands and the risk of spreading the infection to other passengers and objects in the vehicle. Passengers are to enter the bus through the second or back door with a valid ticket, and when entering the bus they must already be wearing a mask and must disinfect their hands, while always maintaining a distance of at least 1.5 meters between other passengers.
