Secondary schools in Gyprus include two categories: 'Gymnasium' which has 3 classes (A;B;C) for ages 13-15 and 'lyceum' which has 3 classes (A;B;C) for ages 16-18. Since 8 February 2021 gymnasiums and two classes of lyceums (A and B) operate with distance learning while class C of lyceums operate at the place of school. Since 27 February 2021 gymnasiums operate with distance learning while lyceums operate at the place of school.

The government is starting pilots to try out how access tests work in practice . The aim of the tests is to see how the use of test certificates can contribute to the earlier and wider opening of sectors. These are pilots in zoos; museums and sports; among other things. All non-essential stores had been closed from 15 December 2020. From 10 February 2021; ordering and collecting an order is possible at all retailers. From 3 March 2021; shops may receive customers by appointment. A maximum of 2 customers may be in the store at the same time per floor. From 16 March 2021; this is also extended to 1 customer per 25 square meter; with a maximum of 50 customers at the same time. Customers must register 4 hours in advance. A visit takes at least 10 minutes. This is to prevent contacts between customers who quickly alternate.

On March 2021; the weather was so nice people the parks were full of people so different cities decided to close some parks to avoid overcrowding. This included parks in Maastricht; Tilburg; Breda; Utrecht and Amsterdam. In Maastricht; the city park had to be completely evacuated by the police. Boas and police officers present in Tilburg also issued fines for gathering. It is so busy that the Spoorpark remains closed for the rest of the day. The municipality of Breda reports that there is a lot of activity in the Valkenberg. 'Do not enter the park'; it sounds on Twitter....
